Jay Leno is leaving The Tonight Show after his final show on Thursday to be replaced by Jimmy Fallon, but Leno’s farewell week has been a non-stop treat so far. Last night (Wednesday) saw an appearance by Sandra Bullock as the main guest, which quickly devolved into a teary-eyed compliment fest.

Leno is having a full week of farewell shows with some of his favorite guests through the years.

"You've always been so kind. That's saying a lot in this business, because we like to be mean," Bullock said. "There's not been one time you haven't treated me like I had something to offer – even when the film was awful and you knew it, you never let me see it in your eyes."

So that would mean that it’s time to chill out online bloggers, Bullock, like the rest of the world, already knows Speed 2 was terrible. On that note, Leno took a little jab at his guest – he’s allowed to, it’s his last week. “I don't care anymore!” the host exclaimed in his defense. Oh and there was a montage of Bullock’s hair evolution through the years, set to the tune of Memories.

Bullock took the joke like a champ.

There were several other guests of note. When Leno said that he had been cleaning out his office and a few things, left behind by his guests popped up, the Justin Bieber gag was obviously coming, in the form of a bong and a diary. After Leno read from the diary, director Kevin Smith showed up to claim the bong – noting it held less weed than when he'd left it.

Carrot Top also came in to get some of his things, including an updated helmet for the Denver Broncos – complete with tissues for after their Super Bowl loss. Arsenio Hall and Blake Shelton also appeared to send off Leno and wish him luck. Leno's final Tonight Show is Thursday, with Billy Crystal and Garth Brooks scheduled. Leno said there'd be more surprises that even he isn’t aware of.
