Recent rumours suggested the Academy Award-winning actress had expanded her family by taking in a little girl, but while promoting her latest movie, Our Brand Is Crisis, the 51-year-old took the opportunity to clear up the speculation once and for all.

"There is only one adopted child in my household, and his name is Louis," she tells the Associated Press. "If I had a second adopted child, everyone would be hearing about it. I would be loud and clear and say, 'Yes, I have officially adopted a second child'. Right now, Louis must be it."

Sandra adopted her little boy in 2010, while she was still married to ex-husband Jesse James. The actress proceeded with her plans after splitting from the reality TV star and she has been raising the five year old as a single mother.
