The former girl band singer has also recently split from her management
As critics and audience members continue to badly review Sarah Harding’s performance in Ghost: The Musical, the former pop star has come out in defence of her struggles citing chronic pain and the pressure of daily performances as reasons for her difficulties – which included pulling out of a show during its interval.
Sarah Harding has revealed she is suffering with chronic pain
Sarah split from her management, Dan Parker, before she took to the stage as Molly in the musical at Blackpool Opera House and fans are now concerned for her wellbeing.
Fans were left confused when the former Girls Aloud star was replaced by her understudy mid-show.
Sarah Harding pulled out of a performance of Ghost: The Musical on Monday night, mid-way through the show.
Harding, who plays the female lead Molly, did not return to the stage after the extended 41-minute interval, with understudy Kelly Hampson taking her place.

Sarah Harding has been forced to pull out of a performance of Ghost The Musical just days after making her debut at London's New Wimbledon Theatre. The 34-year-old has been diagnosed with an upper respiratory tract infection by her doctor and told to rest up.
Illness has forced Sarah Harding to pull out of a performance of Ghost The Musical
In a statement her spokesperson said: "Sarah went to see the doctor today who diagnosed an upper respiratory tract infection. She’s been really pushing herself over the past three weeks, rehearsing solidly for the show and making sure her performance is perfect."
Many viewers on Twitter couldn't get over the Girls Aloud star's change in appearance on Friday’s ‘This Morning’.
Sarah Harding denied that she’s had any cosmetic surgery during an appearance on Friday’s ‘This Morning’ to promote stage musical Ghost. But despite the singer’s denial, many fans on Twitter branded her ‘unrecognisable’ and debated wether or not she’d recently had work done.
Sarah Harding has denied having plastic surgery
When asked by host Anita Rani whether she had undergone any “plastic surgery”, Sarah shook her head. “I haven’t had plastic surgery,” Sarah said, before scrunching her forehead and pointing to the lines as proof she has not had botox.
The 34 year old former Girls Aloud star is to play the role of Molly, opposite Andy Moss's Sam, in the UK production that begins August 29th.
Former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is set to make her theatrical debut in a new musical version of the classic ’90s movie Ghost.
The 34 year old singer, who has clocked up acting experience on the two St. Trinian’s movies in 2007 and 2009 in addition to a short-lived stint on ITV soap ‘Coronation Street’ last year, is to fill Demi Moore’s role as Molly.
Andy Moss, who played Rhys in Channel 4’s ‘Hollyoaks’, is to perform in Patrick Swayze’s role as Molly’s murdered boyfriend Sam, with whom she is able to communicate through the power of a medium (the latter role saw Whoopi Goldberg win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress).

The series has been plagued by injuries, but it seems viewers are also deserting the Channel 4 show.
As ‘The Jump’ prepares to crown its series' winner, it’s been reported that the show may not make it back onto our screens again. According to The Sun, the series is facing the axe by Channel 4, after ratings have ‘fallen off a massive cliff’.

A show source told the newspaper: “The feeling among the show team is that this has been the worst series yet. After so many injuries, the celebrities are terrified of everything — and then the viewer ratings have fallen off a massive cliff.”

The current series of the Channel 4 show has been plagued by injuries.
Former Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding has become the latest celebrity to fall victim to the curse of ‘The Jump’. The Channel 4 reality series has been plagued by injuries since it began last month and Harding is the latest celeb to be forced to leave the competition.

Harding had to withdraw after tearing a ligament in her knee during a training session. A spokesperson told The Mirror: "Sarah has been forced to leave the competition after pulling a ligament in her knee today.”
The former Girls Aloud singer is said to have been in a brief relationship with Benjamin Costain having met at a football match last year.
Former Girls Aloud star and current contestant in ‘The Jump’ Sarah Harding apparently enjoyed a brief romantic fling with a 21 year old man, and wasn’t put off by the fact he was living with his parents at the time.
The Sun reported on Monday (February 1st) that the 34 year old singer met Benjamin Costain at a football match last year, and that she was apparently so taken with him that she didn’t even care that he hadn’t moved out of home.

The singer could be hitting the Austrian slopes in the new year
Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has swapped a forgettable appearance on Coronation Street’s cobbles for what she is hoping to be an unforgettable appearance on the slopes. The singer has become the latest celebrity rumoured to sign up for Channel 4’s winter sports show, The Jump.
Could the singer be swooshing down the slopes in January?
Despite the line-up yet to be confirmed by Channel 4, this could be Sarah’s first return to TV screens after her disastrous attempt to woo Weatherfield.

Girls Aloud star didn't get any special treatment in court
Sarah Harding has been banned from driving and fined £500 for using her mobile phone at the wheel, MTV have reported. The Girls Aloud star appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court today (April 16, 2013) to answer the charges and it didn’t turn out well for the star who was unable to wriggle out of the punishment that greeted her.
Harding already had nine points for speeding on her license, as she headed to court, suggesting that she perhaps isn’t the most diligent of drivers. She landed a £500 fine for being caught on her mobile whilst driving and was also ordered to pay a £20 victim support surcharge as well as an extra £85 in prosecution costs. Harding’s lawyer Nick Freeman did his best to defend the pop singer but there was simply no convincing the judge. Freeman attempted to argue the case that she was only using her mobile phone because she was lost on the way to a business meeting when the police spotted her. We’re not sure which legal school Freeman went to but using a phone while driving ‘because you are lost’ doesn’t actually stop it being ‘very much against the law.’
Judge Nina Tempia wasn’t about to fall for Freeman’s sob story, it seems and said to Sarah “He is asking the court to deal with you as opposed to a normal person. Well, you are a normal person. I can see no reason why you shouldn't be disqualified." And boom! She disqualified her.
There were tears all-round at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on Wednesday as Girls Aloud called time on their hugely successful career.
Girls Aloud have officially called time on their stunning career in pop music after playing a final show in Liverpool on Wednesday evening (March 20, 2013). The show at the Echo Arena capped a 12-date sold-out farewell tour in the UK, following ten hugely successful years together for the girl group. "We have now come to the end of our incredible time together," read a tweet on the band's official account.
Girls Aloud formed after appearing on reality TV show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, going straight to No.1 with their debut single 'Sound of the Underground,' and easily seeing off the competition from hapless rival band One True Voice. The group, made up of Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts, achieved a string of 22 consecutive hit singles, including four No.1's. Cole - the most successful of the group - tweeted after the Liverpool gig, "I love you @GirlsAloud fans so so so so so much! You have given me everything!" adding, "To the people that haven't been able to make it, for whatever reason, we feel your support regardless and have done for 10 yrs."

Danny Dyer's Latest Movie 'Run For Your Wife' Has Taken Just £605 At The Box Office
Poor old Danny Dyer. Actually, let's not pity him - he was one the one who signed up for Run For Your Wife, a comedy also starring Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and presenter Denise Van Outen. The movie scored a collective 0% rating on the reviews aggregating website Rotten Tomatoes, with Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian damningly writing "The trouser-dropping 80s stage farce finally hits the big screen with Danny Dyer, to kill off any remaining British self-respect." Oh dear.
The movie has scored rather dismal box-office return of just £602 from nine cinemas, delivering an average of £67, plus previews of £320, according to The Guardian. Dyer can probably take a crumb of comfort in the fact that many of the sites only screened the film on Sundays, and the movie will play it at least a further 65 cinemas this week though mainly in late morning and afternoon slots. The movie - which features numerous high profile stars including Judi Dench who agreed to donate their fees to a theatre charity - follows the story of a London cab driver, played by Dyer, who has two wives, two lives and precise schedule for juggling both. One of his loves resides in Streatham, while another is settled in Wimbledon. The weird trailer was a foreboding sign, featuring Denise Van Outen singing a theme song while Danny Dyer falls out of windows and hits himself in the face with garden rakes. Oh, and Neil Morrissey turns up, for a bit.

British farces work on stage, but usually feel agonisingly stupid on screen. And this is a worst-case scenario, as playwright Cooney adapts his classic 1983 farce without even the slightest adjustment for the cinema. Everything is played as broadly as possible, with luridly coloured sets and actors performing to the top balcony rather than cameras that are right in their faces. So even if it's energetic and sometimes amusingly silly, it's painful to sit through.
Everything centres around John Smith (Dyer), a cheeky cabbie who lives two idyllic lives. He lives with his wife Michelle (Van Outen) in South London and has a second wife Stephanie (Harding) north of the river, juggling them with his shift-work. One day he's injured while rescuing a bag lady (Dench) from two thugs, and he ends up in the hospital. When he doesn't come home on time, Michelle calls the South London police and meets a detective (Cartwright). But Stephanie also calls a cop (Le Prevost), and the two officers are about to rumble John's whole set-up. So he asks his chucklehead neighbour (Morrissey) for help.
As a farce, the story is full of possibility for slapstick hilarity and more telling social comedy. But Cooney never taps into any of this, instead creating a hectic movie that never pauses to catch its breath. Dialog is shouted at full pitch, which bulldozes any potential for clever wit. And most of the actors are goaded into giving smirking performances that make the characters deeply unlikeable. Everyone goes on about what a nice guy John is, but Dyer plays him as a panicky liar who cares about nothing but his own skin. And both Van Outen and Harding over-react so ludicrously to everything that we can't understand how John can bear to be around them.

The London premiere for the upcoming movie 'Run For Your Wife' was a particularly British affair last night (February 5th 2013). Making their appearances on the red carpet were a number of Brit reality stars, TV presenters and actors both young and old preparing for their first viewing of Ray Cooney's stunning new comedy.
Sarah Harding looked to be returning to her party animal phase on a night out in Camden with girl friends last night (December 20th 2012).
The Girls Aloud singer was spotted by paparazzi leaving popular Pan-Asian restaurant Gilgamesh clutching the arm of an unknown friend with some other female friends in her wake. She had her blonde locks loose and had donned a short black dress and, unlike her friends, had neglected to wear a jacket or, indeed, anything to cover her legs in spite of the December weather. The girls were then seen piling into the back of a taxi; Sarah seems smiley enough, waving at the cameras but it is unclear whether she has had any alcohol despite what some websites might report.
The 31-year-old has previously been in rehab for alcohol dependence, depression and an addiction to sleeping tablets; she checked into a clinic in Cape Town, South Africa in October last year (2011) following the break-up with her boyfriend of five years Tom Crane. Things didn't necessarily improve after her discharge, however, as she embarked on a relationship with Theo Van Dries who she met there which resulted in a violent altercation between the pair on New Year's Day. One hopes that she is smiling in the photos from her night out because things are going better for her now.
Cheryl Cole assumed it was a good idea to wear a tight fitting leather dress to her pal Kimberly Walsh's birthday party in London last night (November 21, 2012), despite intending to eat until she couldn't eat no more. Cole, 29, opted for the nude coloured dress from The Row, though told fans she had well and truly scoffed her face at the upmarket eatery Zuma.

Donning matching bright orange dresses, the five girls of Girls Aloud took to the stage at the BBC's Children In Need show last night (16th Nov. 2012), marking their first performance of their reunion.
The band that was first created on Pop Idol back in 2002, performed their newest single, aptly titled 'Something New', and performed a dance routine that was a bit of a watered down version of the video. Nadine Coyle, having been asked how it felt to be back on stage, said "That was nerve-wracking! Was that a mistake I made there? Was I supposed to walk forward? All those nervous things!" according to the Mirror. Kimberly Walsh added that "[They]'ve all fallen back into our roles it's as if nothing ever changed. It really does just feel so good to be here."
Nadine, Kimberly, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts have all been pursuing solo careers since going on hiatus in 2009, but have chosen to reform to mark 10 years in the making. Past hits include 'Sound of the Underground', 'Love Machine' and 'Something Kinda Oooh'. Their new single is out on Sunday (18th Nov. 2012) and the album, titled Ten will be released next week, on November 26th.
Model Abbey Clancy and Sarah Harding were among those taking to the catwalk for the Lingerie London Fashion Show at the Old Billingsgate Market in London last night (October 24, 2012). The celebrity models were showcasing underwear for lingerie labels Agent Provocateur and Atsuko Kudo.
Clancy, a 26-year-old model and mother-of-one, wore a gold basque and matching knickers before returning to the catwalk later in the evening wearing red-topped stockings and gold heels. The Liverpudlian was watched on by proud husband Peter Crouch, who understandably beamed with delight. As mentioned, Abbey wasn't the only star to appear at the fundraiser, with television presenter and model Zara Martin also making an appearance.
Girls Aloud fans across the country have been delighted by the revelation that Girls Aloud will be reuniting for a tenth anniversary album and tour. The album will be aptly titled 'Ten' which will be released on November 26th 2012, and will be followed by a 12 date tour in 2013.
It was exactly ten years ago today (19th Oct 2012) that the multi-platinum selling girl band first appeared on the original reality talent TV show Popstars: The Rivals, which pitted a girlband against a boyband in the race to Christmas number 1. Girls Aloud won, marking the first of many successes.
The greatest hits album will include four new songs, including the new Children in Need song 'Something New', plus there'll be the possibility to get a deluxe edition with extra features as well. Reported by the BBC Cheryl Cole said "We're really excited. It feels like nothing has changed."
