Sarah was then asked how much pressure she thought was put on women in the public eye to look a certain way. “Of course as women are getting older, we do start to become a little more insecure about how we’re looking,” she said.

“But that’s just part of growing old, growing up but I think as you get older you get maturer and wiser and I think that’s also a blessing,” she added. "So you should embrace it women.” But after her appearance many viewers took to Twitter to insist she has had work done to her face.

One viewer tweeted: “I never understand why celebrities lie about having plastic surgery or botox when its so obvious #SarahHarding.” Another added: 'I didn't even recognise Sarah Harding on #ThisMorning. Where's the Girls Aloud girl gone?”
