Christie has been described as a "brilliant signing".

A source close to the show said of Christie: "He’s incredibly competitive and has an unbelievable will to win.

"But being a brilliant athlete doesn’t necessary mean he’ll be great on the slopes as it’s a completely different discipline."

The show will return in early 2016 and celebrities will follow in the footsteps of 2015’s champion Joey Essex to try to win the show.
