Sarah Jessica Parker has designed a range of bridal shoes.

The former 'Sex and the City' star has expanded her SJP Collection to include a line of pretty heeled pumps so women can channel the actress' flawless style on their big day.

The brunette beauty unveiled the new additions to her collection - which already includes shoes, handbags and clothing - in the new issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.

The line also features court designs with embellishments on the toe, including a royal blue pair reminiscent of the iconic Manolo Blahnik creation which her character Carrie Bradshaw dons to wed Mr Big in the first film adaptation of the HBO series.

Sarah, 50 - who has three children, James, 12 and five-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha with her husband Matthew Broderick - also shared her top tips for creating the perfect bridal look.

She told the magazine: ''If I were getting married today, I'd likely wear cream, just to have that bridal experience.

''I would want my dress to have an Oscar de la Renta feel, pockets below the waist, a very fitted bodice, a huge skirt, in taffeta or duchesse satin. That silhouette appeals to me because it's old-fashioned yet can look very modern.

''At a wedding, people might strive for a more formal feeling, but a lot of the rules can be broken today. 'Formal' could be a handful of carnations, beautiful and simple.''
