Sarah Palin will dabble in reality TV for a second time with a weekly outdoor show on the Sportsman Channel which will focus on fisherman, hunters and shooters.
Sarah Palin is taking another crack at reality TV with a new show to be aired on the Sportsman Channel.
The television network announced on Monday (Dec 9th) that the former Governor of Alaska will host a new outdoor show called 'Amazing America with Sarah Palin'.
The show will "appeal to Red, Wild and Blue America" and depict outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing and shooting, which the people of the United States of America love to do.
The new TV series will debut in April 2014 and will consist of 12 episodes, the network said in the press release.
Palin released a statement expressing her passion for the project, "I'm excited to help shine a light on all the great American sportsmen and women in the country who live the outdoors lifestyle. Sportsman Channel is the leader in their industry and I am thrilled to be partnering with them on this show."
Gavin Harvey, CEO of Sportsman Channel also commented on the new venture, "Governor Palin is one of America's most popular leaders, whose powerful love of country and passion for the great outdoors is inspiring to millions and millions of people, he said.
"As a sportswoman, humanitarian, and patriot who has visited every corner of the USA, there is no one more qualified to host Amazing America than Sarah Palin."
The 49 year-old isn't a rookie to reality TV, in 2010 she starred in a show on TLC called 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' which followed her family's favourite outdoor adventures in the northern state.
The show was cancelled after one season.
