Scarlett Johansson is the female lead in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's first feature presentation Don Jon, a film where pornography features heavily as a major theme. Her character in the film is deeply opposed to porn, but it may come as a surprise to learn that Scarlett actually an opinion on adult entertainment and it is one that isn't wholly bad.

The 28-year-old actress stars as the cover girl on the December issue of the UK's Marie Claire magazine and during her interview she was quizzed on the merits of porn and gave an insightful view on the controversial business practice. To put it bluntly, Scarlett, it turns out, is pro-porn and has no hang up with discussing the matter.

"I think porn, like anything else, can be enjoyed," she told the magazine in her interview (via the Daily Mail). "It can be productive for both men and women."

Still, as open minded as her opinions are, there is a limit to how much porn is too much porn, and like JGL's character in Don Jon she does believe that porno addiction is a problem. She revealed, "If I found out my boyfriend watched that much porn, I would be totally flabbergasted, for sure."

Her comments on pornography match that of her co-star JGL, who spoke about the merits of porn himself during the London Film Festival screening of his film last month. The actor said that, as far as he is concerned, there is nothing "inherently bad" about porn. He continued, "I don't think any particular media is inherently bad. It's on us as individuals to interpret the media that we consume, whether that's pornography, movies, television or commercials."
