Actress Scarlett Johansson gives a revealing interview to US magazine Marie Clare.
Scarlett Johansson rarely gives interviews in which she will delve into her personal life, but in the upcoming May edition of Marie Clare the actress has given a one off glimpse into her life in a tell-all interview. In the exchange the gorgeous star opens up for possibly the first time about her 2010 divorce from Ryan Reynolds, addresses her current relationship status and talk about why she is shy towards social media hype.
Scarlett Johansson recently appeared on stage in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
Wearing a floral bodysuit for the front cover of the magazine, Scarlett continued her trend of never looking remotely unattractive to great effect and although her talk wasn't as revealing as she is beautiful, Scarlett did tentatively answer all that was asked. Since the star's divorce from movie hunk Reynolds both have remained hushed on the topic until now, but Scarlett's talk revealed that she has finally begun to feel as though she is ready to leave that part of her past behind, even though it was still a relatively recent event. She went on to say, "I continue to get to know myself better as I get older, and that helps me in my relationships."
As for her new flame, French magazine editor Romain Dauriac, it seems as though the screen beauty is totally smitten and although recent rumours that the two were engaged were immediately shot down, that doesn't make them any less of a loved-up couple. The two are more than happy to let their hair down when together, as her talk about a recent date to trendy NYC nightclub Lighthouse demonstrates. The two apparently spent the night dancing away til the wee hours and in the morning after, the pair confirmed with one another just how good they were on the dance floor. "[We were] completely delusional. I'm sure we were absolutely, like, ridiculous together," she humbly told the reporter after.
Scarlett also talked about how she sees jealousy as an unattractive quality in men
As far as Scarlett Johansson interviews go, this one was particularly insightful and it may be some time before the siren delivers a talk like this again, especially given her shyness in regard to using social media. She said on the topic, "I don’t understand this need to share. We almost exploit ourselves in order to feel seen."
Scarlett has a busy schedule coming up and will next be seen in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debute about a porn addict who betters himself in Don Jon. She will then be donning the black spandex again to reclaim her role as Black Widow in the upcoming Captain America sequel and subsequent Marvel movies, including The Avengers 2. Scarlett will also be appearing in Jonathan Glazer's sci-fi flick Under The Skin and she told Marie Clare that she also plans to adapt and direct Truman Capote's Summer Crossing next year.
Don Jon will be her next film.
