Actress Scarlett Johansson Has Reportedly Been Tapped To Star In A Remake Of Monster Movie Creature From The Black Lagoon.
Studio officials at Universal have recruited The Amazing Spider-Man 2 screenwriter Jeff Pinkner to pen the script for the reboot, and Johansson has allegedly been linked to a lead role as a scientist who discovers a half-human, half-fish creature in the Amazonian jungle.
Further details about the project have yet to be revealed.
The original movie, directed by Jack Arnold and starring Richard Carlson and Julie Adams, was released in 1954 and has since become a cult classic.
