Innovative pop-rock band Scissor Sisters are set to release their second single 'Baby Come Home' from their recently released album 'Magic Hour' on July 23rd 2012.
The associated video, directed by Lorenzo Fonda, delivers the eccentricity of the band appropriately with its members featured donning a variety of flamboyant costumes including that of nuns, monks, sailors and prison inmates - so if you've always wanted to see vocalists Jake Shears dressed up as a nun and Ana Matronic as a glamorous witch then this is your lucky day!
The single aired for the first time last week in a performance on 'The Graham Norton Show' and it follows the first single from their album 'Only the Horses'; produced by Calvin Harris and storming the charts after its live performance on the singing contest show 'The Voice' as well as selling out gigs at the Shepherd's Bush Empire.
The New York based Scissor Sisters are vocalists Jake Shears and Ana Matronic, instrumentalist Babydaddy, guitarist Del Marquis and drummer Randy Real. They shot to stardom with a chart-storming disco version of Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb' and later with number one hit 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin''. They have so far received three BRIT awards for their musical achievements and contributions.
Their latest album, 'Magic Hour', is full of various collaborations with the likes of Azealia Bank, Calvin Harris, Stuart Price, Pharrell Williams, Diplo and German electronic music producer Alex Rihda.
