Scooter Braun Reveals Ariana Grande Once Fired Him

Ariana Grande Scooter Braun

Pop artist manager Scooter Braun has revealed that Ariana Grande once tried to fire him, apparently over a “sh***y boyfriend”.

The 37 year old pop impresario, whose clients famously include Justin Bieber and, on occasion, Kanye West, soon reunited with Grande despite the brief parting of ways, which apparently happened back in 2016.

“With Ariana, I could have said a lot of stuff, and in fact my team wanted me to, because they were so pi****. But I said, ‘We’re not gonna say a word, and this is gonna come back around,’” Braun said during a talk as part of Fast Company’s Innovation Festival on Tuesday (October 23rd).

Justin Bieber Scooter Braun

Justin Bieber's manager has admitted he was told he was ''crazy'' for wanting to sign the YouTube star in 2009.

Scooter Braun discovered the international star online almost a decade ago, and alongside Usher, the pair helped to launch the Canadian hunk's career, although they were warned off the idea at the time.

Speaking to Billboard magazine about how the music industry has changed over the years, he said: ''When I started, everyone told me that I was crazy to sign an act [Bieber] off of YouTube.

The cast has been finalised for the upcoming music movie Jem and the Holograms; a reboot of the classic '80s kids cartoon about a record exec who moonlights as a pop star. Sharknado star Aubrey Peeples is playing Jem alongside Stefanie Scott ('A.N.T. Farm'), Hayley Kiyoko ('Lemonade Mouth'), and Aurora Perrineau, daughter of actor Harold Perrineau, will play the rest of Jem's band, The Holograms, as Kimber, Aja, and Shana according to THR.

Instead of having Jem as a record company owner slash pop star, the filmmakers have decided that Jem will be an orphaned teen named Jerrica who becomes an online recording sensation.

Justin Bieber's 10 Worst Moments

Justin Bieber Scooter Braun Bill Clinton Keyshawn Johnson

Everyone remembers the teenage heartthrob that loved his mother, stood firm behind his Christian faith and sang that cute, though annoying, song about trying to keep a girl interested. However, that heartthrob has decided that his 'Baby' faced image just isn't what he wants anymore and appears to have made every effort to try and embody that badass megastar status that many young starlets so desperately crave.

Justin Bieber is failing, however. Instead, he has just about managed to act a few years younger than his 19-year-self, and succeeded in infuriating just about every non-Belieber on the planet (the fans remain firm behind him). And so, we present you a small snippet of just what Bieber's been doing to hack everyone off.

Justin Bieber's Believe Trailer

When Justin Bieber was discovered by Scooter Braun and Usher Raymond after performing his songs on YouTube, he had no idea that he would soon become an international superstar. The media was initially enthused by this emerging young talent who captured the hearts of teenage girls everywhere, but as he got older, the press jumped on him as his lifestyle became more and more controversial. Every aspect of his life was scrutinised and viciously criticised, from his relationship to fellow star Selena Gomez, to his increasingly wild parties and dangerous driving antics. Through it all, however, he insists that he is continually learning and is determined to believe in himself and stay on top - rather than crash and burn like so many young starlets of the past.

The Last Straw: Justin Bieber's Manager Warns Lil Twist Has To Go

Justin Bieber Scooter Braun

Justin Bieber's best friend, Lil Twist, has been named on a battery report by a woman who claims the rapper got rough with her at Bieber's Calabasas mansion when she tried to leave in the early hours of the morning. Although the 'Baby' singer wasn't home, pals were using his place to party and when a woman tried to leave, "Twist grabbed her by the arm in a forceful manner and tried to prevent her from leaving the home," according to TMZ.

This isn't the first time that Bieb's tufty-haired sidekick has had a run in with the law for his reckless actions - last month he was arrested on DUI charges whilst driving Bieber's Fisker Karma well over the speed limit.

Monkey Gone To Heaven: Justin Bieber Leaves 'Mally' High And Dry

Justin Bieber Scooter Braun

Ok, so Justin Bieber's monkey hasn't gone to heaven, but the pop-star hasn't given young Mally much of a chance, leaving him at a German airport to fend for himself. In case you're unfamiliar with the story, Bieber arrived into Munich with the baby capuchin, only for it to be quarantined as the singer didn't have the proper paperwork. The sanctuary where Mally is being kept has received two emails, reportedly from Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, who asks how long it will be before Mally would be euthanized, according to the Associated Press.

The second email says Bieber's team was "looking into the idea of placing Mally at a zoo" in the country, asking, "Would you happen to have any recommendations for places that Mally would be safe and thrive?" The boss of the shelter currently caring for the monkey says sending him to a zoo is not an option, telling the Daily Mail, "[They] indicated that they want the monkey back," he said earlier this month. "But that just isn't acceptable [because] the baby monkey needs company and to be with other monkeys at this crucial age in its life. [He] was never going to be suited to be on a world tour, even if he is travelling by private jet. He should be out in the wild climbing trees. We are very concerned that Mally is safe and placed in the best possible residence."

If by May 17 there is nothing from Bieber himself, he will lose ownership of the animal and it will become the property of the Federal Republic of Germany. Should Bieber want his monkey back, the 19-year-old will be expected to pay a fine and to reimburse the shelter costs relating to Mally's case.

Justin Bieber Supports Chris Brown But Will Not Attend Grammys

Justin Bieber Chris Brown Selena Gomez Scooter Braun

Since the break-up of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez the focus on the 18 year old has been largely on his personal life rather than his career. However, lately though, with the release of his acoustic album and his elision from the upcoming Grammys, focus is back where it should be.

Justin's manager Scooter Braun took to Twitter to air his disgust with the Grammys for ignoring the young star back December. "[T]his time there wont be any wise words, no excuses, I just plain DISAGREE," he said. "The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one."

In an interview with Billboard Bieber admitted to agreeing with his manager, but that his feelings of disappointment has nothing to do with how he feels about his fellow artists. "I'm so happy for the other artists who got nominated and have won Grammys. I'm 18 and I think that I have a lot ahead of me, so I'm not worried." Adding that he was supporting Chris Brown in the awards, "I'm a fan. His music is really good. That's what they should focus on: the music."
