The supposedly 'ex'-couple were spotted out at lunch together on Wednesday, prompting rumours of an imminent reunion.
Scott Disick is trying his hardest to ingratiate himself back into Kourtney Kardashian’s life, with a new report claiming that he’s promised his estranged on/off-again girlfriend that he’ll be a better partner if given the chance.
The pair, who seemed to have finally split in July this year after nearly a decade of dating marred by intermittent break-ups, were spotted going out to lunch together in Los Angeles on Wednesday (November 25th) without their children, in what many media outlets interpreted to be a last-ditch attempt at reconciliation.
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick in happier times
“He told her that his New Year’s resolution is to be sober and a better father to his children and a better boyfriend to her,” a source close to the 32 year old told HollywoodLife.com the day after. “Scott’s made promises like this before and it appears that Kourt’s trusting he’s going to be a man of his word and turn over a new leaf.”
However, an onlooker told People magazine at the time that the pair were “not affectionate in any way” despite managing a few smiles for the assembled cameras.
Having been photographed chatting up another woman at an event in Monte Carlo this summer, 36 year old Kourtney apparently dumped Disick and threatened him with various ultimatums involving not having access to their children if he didn’t clean up his party-filled life.
This had seemed to work, with Disick checking into a rehab facility in Malibu to address alcohol problems. However, as he’s due to host a massive New Year’s Eve celebration at Las Vegas’ 1Oak club, some onlookers will see this as a huge test for him.
The pair have three children together – Mason (5), Penelope (3) and Reign (11 months).
