The Bad Boy Records boss recently dodged felony charges after allegedly attacking one of his son Justin's college football coaches at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a kettle bell weight following a practice dispute in June (15).

The incident occurred six months after Combs was involved in an altercation with rapper Drake at a Miami, Florida nightclub in December (14), when he reportedly threw a punch at the Started From the Bottom hitmaker, sending him to hospital.

However, it appears Combs' heated encounters have made him think twice about his behaviour, and, following an insightful conversation with an unnamed fellow musician, he claims he has decided to "become a hippy" and spread peace and love.

During a new interview on Pharrell Williams' Beats 1 Radio show OTHERtone, Combs, previously known as Puff Daddy, explains, "We were just talking about negative and positive. I was telling him, 'I'm really trying to be more positive.' He just said, 'If you're faced with something negative and you hit it with a negative, it's only gonna give you another negative. The only way to turn around a negative is to hit it with a positive.'

"I was like, 'Damn, it's been that simple the whole time.' So I made a decision on what I want to put out there. I don't wanna give you nothing but love. I don't wanna give you nothing but positive vibrations (sic). Yes, Puff Daddy has become a hippy."
