So, Is Kate Upton Dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy Or Not?

Kate Upton was spotted with Maksim - or someone who looks like Maksim - at a New York eatery this week.
It's a question that's been on our minds all week. Is Kate Upton dating Dancing with the Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy? The duo were apparently spotted enjoying each other's company at Scalinatella in New York City this week, though management at the Upper East Side eatery debunked reports of a relationship and told E! news that their dinner "did not look intimate at all."
Meanwhile, a source told E! News that the two "are just good friends" while a second source close to Maksim said they've "heard nothing about them dating." Anyhow, the restaurant in New York couldn't even confirm that it was the dancer with the buxom Vogue cover model though did note that the two dinner guests appeared "just friends."
Upton - now one of the world's most popular models - has remained mum on her dating life in recent years, though vehemently denied she was dating Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander during a Fox News interview back in February. Past reports have linked Kate to Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, Kanye West, football ace Mark Sanchez and even Never Back Down actor Sean Faris.

As Jake has an emotional breakdown and reveals his inner demons, his mentor listens with an attentive ear... as he browses the shelves for lettuce. That's right, the pivotal scene of Never Back Down takes place in the produce aisle of a grocery store. Did the filmmakers think audiences would take this movie seriously when the drama peaks as the characters are shopping for spinach and romaine?
Effective drama can happen in a grocery store. Many priceless movie moments have taken place in unexpected locations. But Never Back Down doesn't bring earnestness and truth to this scene; it just feels awkward and clueless. There's also a scene where Jake breaks out his newly learned karate moves when a car behind him honks at a stop sign. And the music video-esque scene in which Jake's mother charges through the house and dramatically, um, does the laundry.
