Willow Smith Features On 'Bird Song': A Song By Sean Lennon And Carrie Fisher

She lends her voice to Sean's demo tribute to his late friend.

Sean Lennon has unveiled the demo for an enchanting new song entitled 'Bird Song', that he claims was co-written by his good friend Carrie Fisher before she died. While they never got to record the song together, he has now teamed up with Willow Smith to unveil it in Carrie's memory.

The son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono was hit hard by the death of the 'Star Wars' actress in December, but his fond memories of her have led him to share a sensational new tune that they worked on together a few years ago. It's a beautiful piano led duet that is as mournful as it is uplifting, and was recorded in a matter of hours.

Harry began his US trip with a Manhattan event, the guestlist of which was bursting with socialites.

Prince Harry took Manhattan by storm last night, when he attended a dinner hosted by American Friends of The Royal Foundation. Also in attendance were music producer and Black Eyed Peas headliner Will.i.am., as well as Sean Lennon and Bright Lights Big City author John McInerney and his socialite and philanthropist wife Anne Hearst-Mcinerney, sister of Patti, and the daughter of publishing tycoon Randolph J Hearst.

Yes, it was an evening, practically packed with socialites, but Harry caught the eye of one, renowned for her beauty – Miss USA herself, Nana Meriweather. On the night of her attendance of the glitzy fundraiser at the Four Seasons, Miss Meriweather joked about the British royal whisking her away. Or was she joking? “Wouldn’t that make a great story? We should totally get married,” the beauty queen chuckled. “And he’s tall, I hear, so maybe we’ll get married.” All jokes aside though, the two royal and the beauty queen probably would make a good couple, or at least a height-appropriate one, with Meriweather towering at the impressive height of 6ft1in, just an inch shorter than Harry. Unfortunately for her, if celebrity couples are anything to go by, it definitely takes more than an appropriate height difference to make things work. But hey, it really would make a cute story, if a really improbable one.

Fridge is a superhero with powers that are pretty self-explanatory, but he's not the only one. The country is pretty much overrun with crime-fighting caped crusaders; so much so that their government funding has been cut and people are less in support of them - the police even less so. With this huge problem hanging over the heads of Fridge and his best friend C-Thru, they are presented with the mission to earn superheroes respect once again. However, things take a difficult turn in Fridge's life when he discovers that his girlfriend seems to prefer his super alter ego over Brendan, his everyday geeky self, and he decides to break up with her via email. Things get even more complicated when he comes face to face with his arch enemy, Shrink, who killed his parents many years ago.

This hilarious flick gives a new meaning to 'comic' superheroes. It's a wonderful comedy take on the world of heroes and villains that has for so long grasped cinematic and comic book audiences internationally. With deliberately terribly named characters, 'Alter Egos' has been directed and written by the genius that is comic book fan Jordan Galland ('Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead'). It first opened at the Fantasia Film Festival in July and is set for release nationwide on November 20th 2012.

Singer songwriter and film scorer Sean Lennon; his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl; Charlotte's childhood friend Eden Rice; Rufus Wainwright and Dustin Hamman serenade the crowd at the Occupy Wall Street protest in Lower Manhattan with a cover of Madonna's Material Girl. While Rufus sings, Sean and Dustin accompany him on guitar while Charlotte and Eden play the accordion and cymbals respectively.

Jeff Fox, after speaking to the crowd, joined in the impromptu concert on the banjo. The crowd gathered around the musicians joined in the singsong and cheered loudly at the end

New York recently saw the stars come out for the premiere of new 'dramedy' 50/50. Three of the film's stars, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick were all spotted on the red carpet. Joseph is overheard telling a reporter how the script felt 'real' when he first read it, while Seth talks about the writer, Will Reiser, surviving cancer himself, which was what inspired him to write 50/50.
