Sean Parker, the technology entrepreneur and co-found of Napster, has announced his engagement to the singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas, reports Reuters.
The 31-year-old, who founded the file sharing service in 1999, was recently portrayed by Justin Timberlake as a hard-partying ladies man in the Oscar nominated movie 'The Social Network'. The movie followed the story of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and his partnership with Parker, but the Napster boss dismissed the way he was played in the movie as "fiction". He left Facebook back in 2005 and is now a managing partner at the venture capital firm 'Founders Fund'. The emergence of Napster turned the music industry on its head by allowing free peer-to-peer file sharing of songs. The company was shut down by a court order in 2001 over copyright infringement claims. It has since been revived as a subscription music streaming service.
Little is known of Sean Parker's new fiance other than that she is a New York based singer-songwriter.
