The singer has taken part in Vogue’s 73 Questions.
Selena Gomez has some candid advice for her 15-year-old self.
Taking part in Vogue magazine’s 73 Questions video series, the 24-year-old opened up about her hopes for the future, her plans for the year ahead and her pet peeves.
When asked what advice she’d give her 15-year-old self, Gomez said, “go ahead and do it because you're going to do it anyway,” before adding that the thing she wish she’d known back then was ‘patience’.
A decade into the future, Gomez says she sees herself as ‘hopefully happy’, but for the year ahead she predicts she’ll be doing a lot of traveling. Describing herself in three words, Gomez chose 'loyal, kind and giving’.
The singer also revealed that the one thing people might be surprised to learn about her was 'how much I love depressing things’ and that she feels at her most creative when she’s sad.

Listing some of her favourite things, Gomez chose Pilates as her favourite workout, Meryl Streep as her spirit animal and Crazy, Stupid Love as the movie she can watch over and over. She also picked Natalie Portman as the most fashionable woman she knows.
As for her pet peeves, Gomez hates ‘people who are rude' and added that entitled people make her angry. The worst fashion trend she’s ever tried was shoulder pads, which is also the trend she hopes never comes back.
Gomez also had a special message for her 114 million Instagram followers, telling them: “I get to do what I love every single day and it's because of you. Thank you."
