Selena Gomez is purging her life and she’s started – as celebrities tend to do – with her Instagram page. The Come and Get It singer unfollowed everyone on Instagram earlier this week and has since been posting cryptic pictures and messages, including part of the lyrics for Mary J Blige’s ultimate motivation track Work in Progress.

Career-wise,
Gomez is going strong - last week she unveiled the ad campaign for her Adidas NEO collaboration.

According to E! News, the mysterious turnaround happened when Gomez attended Coachella earlier this month. The 21-year-old star apparently had a breakthrough at the two-weekend music festival. E!’s source reportedly claimed that the young star had a breakthrough of sorts at the event and decided to cut all negative influences from her life and “focus on the positive.”

According to one of her recent messages, Gomez is working on herself these days, perfecting her music and getting back in touch with her faith.

Apparently, Gomez is cutting ties on some toxic relationships.

Gomez was much more social at Coachella. She attended with Kendall and Kylie Jenner (both of whom were among the unfortunate souls unfollowed) and she even spent some time with on-again-off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. But whatever happened between then and now, it’s obvious that the singer has had a major change of heart.

Shortly after Coachella, Gomez posted a moody Instagram snap with the caption "I'm going back, to black," referencing the Amy Winehouse song before she posted a review of Mary J. Blige's 2007 album Growing Pains with the lyrics to the tune Work in Progress. Between the message and another selfie posted more recently, we can only guess as to what’s going on with the pop star.
