Serena Williams clarifies Venus Williams' apparent slip over the sex of her baby.
Serena Williams has confirmed that her sister's slip regarding the gender of her unborn baby was more down to wishful thinking than anything else, because the tennis star doesn't actually know what she's having - and it's gong to stay that way until the birth.

Usain Bolt is the fastest runner in recorded history with a record of 9.58 seconds in a 100 metre dash. He has nine Olympic gold medals and is marked as an eleven-time World Champion Athlete. But despite this, the aptly named Bolt has never forgotten his modest beginnings in Kingston, Jamaica. He's never taken his talent for granted and remains a humble human being who is ultimately adored by everyone he meets. In his new documentary, he talks about what's it's like to be a world champion and a record holder; the pressure it brings to him, the gruelling training that isn't always an enjoyable experience, and the ever more ungodly hours at which he has to awaken. A Twitter user described Serena Williams as being ‘built like a man’ and ‘Harry Potter’ author J.K. Rowling immediately jumped to William’s defence.
J.K. Rowling is one of those magical sort of people who will always stand up to a bully and she’s frequently made a point of using social media as a tool to stop cyber bullies from continuing to spread hate. Today, after Serena Williams won the Women’s Singles Championship at Wimbledon, one Twitter user criticised Williams’ appearance and Rowling had something to say about it.

Gabby Douglas, the 16 year old American gymnast that cleaned up at this year's Olympics, has deservedly won Sportswoman of the Year from the Women's Sports Foundation. But what makes a winner? Let's take a look at Douglas' accolades and achievements over the years.
Although 16 years doesn't seem a particularly long lifespan to amass world notoriety and massive achievement, that's exactly what Gabby Douglas has done. In the London 2012 Olympics she won gold in both the individual and team all-around competition. The all-around competition, for those of us that don't know, is exactly what it sounds like; competency all-around. Yahoo said that "In order to win the all-around competition, Douglas had to be dominant in multiple apparatus, including floor, vault, bars and beam." That's five whole disciplines to excel in, which Douglas did at such a level as to win two gold medals. Douglas' dedication to her sport saw her move across the country to train with Liang Chow and Shawn Johnson- who made sure she was the best of the best.
Of course, Douglas had some serious competition for the prestigious award, and Serena Williams, Allyson Felix, Lindsay Vonn, Jessica Long, Tatyanna McFaddyn and finally, another teenage Olympic superstar Missy Franklin. Franklin won 5 medals in the Olympic pool and is aged just 17. All the nominees are incredible women who represent a new and exciting elite group of women for girls to aspire to.
