So a lot of people have seen The Interview.
Hundreds of thousands of people have watched illegal online copies of controversial movie The Interview in South Korea and China after the movie was released in the United States. However, the general consensus was that this was a bad movie unworthy of the media circus following it for the past few weeks. Even South Korea, a country effectively at war with the North, hated it.

"A lot of it is unrealistic and the people who play North Koreans are so bad at speaking Korean," said a viewer on Naver, an online portal. "In the scene where Kim Jong Un gets mad...I couldn't quite understand what he was saying."
A South Korean blogger said: "There is no drama and not much fun. It's all about forced comedy that turns you off. Couldn't they have done a better job making this movie?"

In China, a copy of the movie with subtitles was viewed over 300,000 times on one sharing platform alone.
"It doesn't matter whether the film is any good, it's become something everyone has to see," said one user on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
The movie's official release was cancelled after the cyberattack on Sony though it opened in over 300 theaters in the U.S on Christmas Day drawing sell out audiences and even acclaim from President Barack Obama for championing freedom of expression.
The film is available to U.S viewers through Google Play and YouTube Movies as well as Microsoft's Xbox Live and on a Sony website, www.seetheinterview.com.
Sony executives had previously called the movie "desperately unfunny" while co-chairman Amy Pascal had pleaded with star Seth Rogen to tone down a scene in which Kim Jong Un's head explodes.
