Certainly a band well known in music circles due to their first rate musicianship and professionalism that is dedicated to a revivalist movement, that aims to capture the essence of funk/soul music at its height in the mid-1960s to mid-1970s, 'Soul Time!' is indeed a welcome return. Sharon Jones is a brilliant singer who has all the minerals of a true spirited soul singer. Since the bands inception in the 90's, their journey has grabbed many attentive listeners on the live circuit, who will not be disappointed with this latest album.
