The 32-year-old star - whose father Ozzy Osbourne has battled drug and alcohol abuse issues and sex addiction - writes: ''Mum once locked me in a mental institution for three days and it scared the hell out of me ... I had to wear paper shoes, since I could potentially kill myself with a shoelace and wasn't allowed to have anything metal not even a spoon. I was suicidal by medical standards but I heard mum's message loud and clear: stop using drugs before I was gone for good.''

Sharon Osbourne made another live gaffe on ‘The X Factor’ this weekend, appearing to forget her own lines as she prepared to announce which act she was sending home.

The ‘x factor’s’ return on Saturday night gave the ITV talent show its lowest ratings for a series opener in 10 years, despite the revamped judging panel. The recent affair that seemed to have permanently broken Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s marriage is not yet completely behind them, with Sharon revealing the extent of her husband’s infidelity in a new interview.

Speaking to the Sunday Times, the 63 year old ‘X Factor’ judge revealed that the Black Sabbath singer had actually been engaging in affairs with five different women over five different continents for more than six years.

“The s**t that's been going on with my husband recently, it's been going on for about five years but people are talking about it now,” she told the interviewer. “We've survived everything, drink, drugs and now its women. Next thing he's going to want to become a woman, who knows?"

‘The X Factor’s return to the nation’s TV screens did not go as ITV bosses had planned, with overnight viewing figures for the singing contest’s first episode down to the show’s lowest ratings in more than ten years.

The return of ‘The X Factor’, with an almost entirely overhauled judging panel and presenting team, on Saturday night (August 27th) was viewed by an average 6.8 million people – representing a drop of 800,000 compared to the launch episode from 2015’s series.

It represented a 34% audience share, up against a feature-length 30th anniversary episode of ‘Casaulty’ on BBC1. This is also down on the 39% audience share from 2015.

The new series of ‘The X Factor’ seems to have gotten off to an inauspicious start, after judges Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne failed to show up for the 13th series’ launch event this week.

56 year old Simon and 63 year old Sharon were both no-shows at the central London hotel on Thursday night (August 25th), as the other two judges Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh were left to do press commitments.

Cowell is currently busy with the final stages of ‘America’s Got Talent’ and was obviously unavailable, but Osbourne’s excuse was ‘filming commitments’ – whatever that means.

One of MTV's most popular reality series is finally coming back. Sharon Osbourne has revealed that 'The Osbournes' will make a brief return in the form of a six to eight short episodes, though MTV will not be airing it this time around.

The Osbournes are back!

The family's matriarch Sharon Osbourne confirmed the re-shoot on 'The Talk' earlier this week, but insists that the show will mark more of an update in the family as opposed to an actual major series. 'At most, there will only be six to eight episodes and a catch-up on our lives and where we are now, because it's been so long since we've been seen as a family and our family has grown', she commented on the show. 'We have a granddaughter and a gorgeous daughter-in-law.'

Sharon Osbourne isn't exactly known for being closed off or unwilling to delve into her private life and when she appeared on the BBC's The Graham Norton Show earlier this week, Sharon lived up to her billing as an open book. Discussing plastic surgery procedures, Sharon revealed that she has been under the knife, but not necessarily where you'd expect the knife to go.

Osbourne was a guest on the show on Friday, 29 November, with the interview going to air on 7 December. Whilst on the show, Osbourne was complimented on her looks by host Graham Norton when she revealed that she is no stranger to the surgeon's scalpel. Admitting to having gone under the knife to keep her youthful looks, Sharon went on to explain that she has also had a few other procedures done, including having her "vagina tightened."

Last night marked the first live results of The X Factor – and boy, were there some surprises. The biggest event of the night wasn’t even related to Lorna Simpson getting voted off though. Oops, did we spoil that? Not that it matters really, since the talk of the night had to be Cher – the original one – strutting out on stage in all her surgically enhanced glory and knocking out a power ballad or two for the X Factor crowd.

The future of Nicole Scherzinger as a judge and mentor on The X Factor looks in doubt after reports circulated that she is ready to begin focusing on her music career again. Scherzinger's agent was probably delighted to tie up a guest judging deal with the ITV singing show in 2010 though she's since outgrown the show and is now considered the most popular member of the panel.

Sharon Osbourne has divulged the devastating extent she went to on discovering rocker husband Ozzy Osbourne's slip back into the world of drink and drugs.

'The X Factor' judge has always epitomised female strength with her bouncing back tenfold after every ordeal she has been through. But now she unveils exactly what happened when Ozzy started binging on prescription drugs and consuming alcohol after seven years of sobriety, and how she demanded a divorce from the love of her life following 30 years of marriage, all in her new book 'Unbreakable'. According to the Mirror, the book reveals how she found incriminating texts messages on Ozzy's phone regarding his drug hunting and the pain she went through on revealing to her children Jack, Kelly and Aimee that she wished to separate from him just before they were to celebrate their 30 year anniversary.

And she has every reason to make such a rash decision, having previously given the former Black Sabbath star many chances to curb his alcoholism and drug use after several episodes of physical abuse from the troubled rocker; one being when he was arrested for attempted murder after attempting to strangle her in 1989.

Gary Barlow has announced that he's nearly ready to drop his first solo effort in 14 years this November. Bar the Queen's Diamond Jubilee album, Sing, that he released with the Military Wives and the Commonwealth Band, November's will be his first, solo, full-length album since 1999's Twelve Months, Eleven Days.

The favourite Take That member of mums nationwide, Barlow made his name in the boyband through their 1990 formation to their 2005 reinvigoration. He has since acted as a judge on the UK singing talent contest The X Factor, alongside Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh where he mentors a contestant category.

Dancing with the Stars premiered last night (Monday 16 September) and featured such celebrities as Corbin Bleu, Amber Riley, Elizabeth Berkley, Leah Remini and Jack Osborne. Judged by former professionals and celebrities, the show features inexperienced famous faces paired with professional partners. The judges for season 17 of the dancing competition are Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Kylie Minogue remains one of the biggest names in pop music today, with a back catalogue that most modern day pop starlets could only dream of for their future output. With this in mind, her appointment as a judge on the upcoming season of the BBC's The Voice looks as though it could be the coup of the TV talent shows, however not everyone is convinced that she'll make a convincing judge on the show.

Her credentials as a pop artist need no justifying, however her credentials as a presence on television will be seriously tested when she begins her new job sitting alongside Tom Jones, Will.i.am and whoever is brought in to replace the departing Danny O'Donoghue. She is my all means a much more popular entertainer compared to Jessie, and probably more so than some of the men that she is joining, but she enters the BBC series as an inexperienced TV presenter and may struggle to assert any kind of personality and endear herself to the audience. Either that, or she'll be a massive success and be loved by all.

Louis Walsh has confirmed that he will quit ITV's singing telent contest, The X Factor, after this next series. The upcoming programmes, currently in auditions, will mark the 10th and final session for the 61 year-old entertainment manager.

Speaking to TV Times magazine, as reported by BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat, the Irishman said that he was "happy" to be finally stepping away from the show, having been its longest serving judge. "I'm happy this is going to be my last year. I've been judging X Factor for 10 years so I've done it all."

Did the X Factor producers know what they were getting themselves into when they brought back Sharon Osbourne? We suspect not, but in the end that only makes for a more entertaining format. We all know the X Factor could use a boost these days. According to Sharon’s recent interview with the Mirror, there is just no getting around the fact that she is the best – at least that’s what the reality show pro thinks is the reason.

No surprise she got the job - who could say no to this face? 

“Cos I am the best. It is the truth,” Sharon explained in answer to the question of why she was brought back. “It is not what they told me, it is what the public want. I am way over the age of being shy, my darling, so I will tell you the way it is, OK? You are expecting me to be coy and say, ‘Oh, I don’t know’. You can f*** off because this is it.”

Matthew Mosshart, brother of The Dead Weather/The Kills lead singer Alison Mosshart, has popped the question to his girlfriend Kelly Osbourne, who is the daughter of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. Mosshart, a vegan chef-turned model, mustered up the courage to ask Kelly to marry him whilst the pair were on holiday on the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean. The couple met whilst at model Kate Moss and The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince's wedding in 2011, where Matthew's sister Alison was best woman. They tried out a distance relationship at first - Osbourne lives in L.A whilst Mosshart lived in New York, but after a year he made the decision to uproot his NY home and job to be with his love on the other side of the country - the "biggest sacrifice," according to 28-year old Kelly.

She told Hello! Magazine via Sky News that her engagement ring was inspired by her father's earring: "I used to hold my finger up to his ear when I was little and say: 'I want a ring like that'. Now I have one." In a rather romantic statement, Mosshart had admitted "I knew she was The One pretty early on," with Kelly claiming to All Voices that her boyfriend's vegan diet and positive attitude to healthy eating helped the TV personality, who has previously struggled with her weight, shedding 63 pounds last year. The pair are clearly as smitten as possible, with Kelly proclaiming "Matthew has broken down every one of my walls. There's nothing I wouldn't do in front of him."

One of the original X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne will be returning to the UK version of the reality singing competiton, after it was revealed that Tulisa Contostavlos wouldn’t be returning after two years on the show.

"I couldn't be happier about coming back for the 10th anniversary of X Factor. I can't wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!" said Sharon of her return. The wife of Ozzy Osbourne was last on the show some six years ago, and some quarters feel that her return is long overdue.

As for Tulisa, she broke the news to her Twitter followers that she wouldn’t be coming back on the show after working with X Factor between 2010 and 2012. She wrote: "Just wanted to let you all know that I won't be part of The X Factor panel this year. I've had a great time on the show, but this year it's time to do something different. I'd like to thank everyone on The X Factor for two amazing years." The move to get Osbourne back into the fold may well be something to do with the plummeting viewing figures, with the show hitting a seven years low last year. Additionally Tulisa’s relationships with the other judges deteriorated rapidly, culminating in her having a row with Gary Barlow.

It looks as though Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are back on good terms with each other, with the reunited married pair sharing a kiss on the red carpet for the 'An Evening With Women' event in Beverley Hills on Saturday (May 18). This is the first time the two have looked like a couple again since Sharon reportedly through Ozzy out after his addiction to booze and prescription drugs began to get the better of him.

This weekend, the Sunday People reported that the pair were ready to make amends in their relationship, with Ozzy flying back to the U.K. to rekindle their marriage. The pair were lived apart in Los Angeles for three weeks prior to this weekend, and were spotted without their wedding rings at various occasions before Sharon flew back to their Buckinghamshire mansion recently. Sharon has returned to Britain to begin filming for the X Factor, with Ozzy following her shortly after in a bid to get back in his wife's good books, a tactic that seems to have worked.

Sharon Osbourne has agreed to return to the X-Factor to replace Tulisa Contostavlos in a £1.8 million deal. The reality star agreed terms in London this week and will jet in before the first audition in Glasgow on June 4, 2013. An official announcement is to be made imminently, though it is has been widely reported that Sharon has been in talks with ITV bosses for several months.

A source told The Sun, "Sharon's been through hell lately, so x factor was not front of mind. But she loves the show and missed it. Things with Ozzy have calmed down but they're a long way off being sorted." Simon Cowell has decided that Sharon is the right woman to revamp the show after it lost over three million viewers last time out. The music guru had also approached Oasis founder Noel Gallagher to join the judging panel - a request that he rejected. 

Osbourne will earn £1.5 million in cash and £300,000 in first class flights between the UK and Los Angeles, with hotels, wardrobe and make-up costs also thrown in. She initially quit the panel in 2008 following a reported bust-up with Dannii Minogue. She will be joined by Gary Barlow (who is still thrashing out a new deal also worth £1.5 million) and Louis Walsh (who is presumably happy to accept anything). Nicole Scherzinger could return, though Mel B is reportedly on stand-by should the former Pussycat Doll decide to look for work elsewhere.

Everyone knows by now about Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s marital troubles. After Ozzy’s addiction to prescription drugs came to light recently, rumors started swirling that Sharon was thinking of divorcing her troubled husband. The bottom line however, is that there will be no divorce. Sharon made that clear in a recent interview on The Talk: “Everybody knows he’s been struggling with this [substance abuse] his entire life and I never knew that he was using prescription drugs. I knew he was drinking occasionally, but I didn’t realize to the extent. It’s our business — we’re dealing with it; we’re not getting divorced. "However, am I happy? No. Am I upset? Yes I am — I’m devastated right now."

Like many celebrities recently, Sharon also spoke out against the media’s role in distorting the facts for the sake of drama and a good headline: “Everything that was printed in the tabloids has been distorted," Sharon said Tuesday. "There’s always a little seed of truth to everything that gets reported, but then it gets very distorted. The only thing that’s true was the Facebook posting that my husband did on his Facebook where he said he’s been using alcohol and prescription drugs for the last year and a half … and that he has been in a very dark place. That’s true. It’s very true."

She might be devastated, but she’s sticking by her man.

Sharon Osbourne’s marriage may well be in trouble but that hasn’t stopped the sharp-tongued matriarch from marching ever onwards with her career. She may have left the X Factor UK judging panel back in 2007 but now, Mrs Osbourne is not only set to return to her old role, but she’s going to do it in record-breaking style, with a reported £2 million deal getting inked to secure the reprisal of her slot on the show.

If you’re wondering who’s seat she’s going to be snatching, Huffington Post have reported that it is in fact Nicole Scherzinger who is likely to be giving up her judging slot, whilst Tulisa looks likely to escape her reported axing. Reports suggest that Nicole is opting to focus on her career, leaving Tulisa to make amends for her apparent lack of commitment on last season’s shows, which seemed to lead to her future on X Factor being on shaky ground. Tulisa’s album wasn’t quite the success that quite the success that she will have hoped it to be so X Factor could well be a lifeline for her.

Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne has been in the press recently for slightly less celebratory reasons, after it was revealed that her marriage to Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne is on the rocks. Ozzy’s drink and drugs addictions have reared their ugly head again, though the couple are denying reports that they are getting divorced.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have moved out of their Los Angeles home and are living apart, according to The Sun. The couple, who have been married for 31 years, haven't seen each other for three weeks since they moved out the property but are thought to still be in a relationship.

Sharon and Ozzy are known for their rows and fiery relationship, though it appeared to work for them - or did it on-screen, in their hit MTV show. However, the fights appear to have taken their toll and Sharon is staying in a hotel until her new house in Beverly Hills is renovated, while Ozzy is renting a property two miles away. "They are living at different addresses and are not spending any time together. They row a lot," a source said, "They aren't acting like husband and wife. It is unusual to not even have dinner together when both of them are five minutes apart."

A friend of the couple also told the paper "Sharon and Ozzy have had plenty of opportunities to meet up but haven't spent any time together at all." The couple have been spotted without their wedding rings at numerous events this year, and Sharon recently alluded to the personal problems by tweeting about having a "really tough year."
