Shaun Ryder Has Confirmed Plans To Hit The Road For A Black Grape Reunion Tour Just Days After Announcing He Has Reformed His Other Band, Happy Mondays, For A British Trek This Winter (15).
Ryder and his Black Grape bandmate Kermit hit the stage at the Old Granada Studios in Manchester, England earlier this month (Apr15) to support singer/dancer Bez's The Reality Party political campaign and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut album, It's Great When You're Straight... Yeah, and now the group has announced a U.K. and Ireland tour in June and July (15).
Ryder previously reunited the group in April, 2010, for a gig in London.
Black Grape's tour will begin in Glagow, Scotland on 3 June (15).
Meanwhile, Ryder and the Happy Mondays are plotting a tour to mark the 25-year anniversary of the release of their classic album Pills 'N' Thrills And Bellyaches. The band will perform the 1990 album in its entirety at all 18 shows scheduled for November and December (15).
