The Happy Mondays star garnered a new army of fans when he appeared in the 2010 series of the U.K. reality show and entertained viewers with his antics, eventually finishing second to singer Stacey Solomon.

Now he has revealed producers sounded him out about a potential farewell series featuring all the winners and runners-up when the programme eventually wraps - and Ryder can't wait to sign up.

He tells Q magazine, "Look, I really enjoyed doing the jungle. I've been asked when they wind it down if they did a best-of winners and runners-up, would I go back and the answer is most definitely yes. It led to another life as 'Showbiz Shaun'. I've used it as you should do when these opportunities come up."
