Shayne Ward "Red-Faced" After Sex Tape Leaks Online

The lurid video, believed to have been taken two years ago, happened back when Ward was single, with the star claiming he was 'catfished'.
Actor and singer Shayne Ward has been left “hugely embarrassed” by an old sex tape that was leaked, which shows the star seemingly pleasuring himself while speaking to a woman back when he was single.
The 32 year old actor, who has played Aiden Connor in the long-running ITV soap since 2015, can allegedly be seen in the lurid clip, while blurred stills from the footage show his face and chest tattoos, in a video that’s years old and dates back to 2014, well before he met his current girlfriend.

A mortified Ward, who is expecting a baby with his partner Sophie Austin in the coming months, claims that he was ‘catfished’ in the video chat – referring to somebody adopting a fictional online persona to trick somebody or commit fraud online.
An anonymous source told The Sun on Thursday (October 20th): “This video is years old. Shayne was single at the time and it happened when he was on tour with War of the Worlds. He thought it was a private chat and a one-off and only realised he had been catfished after the video emerged today.”
Photos and gifs of the video have rapidly done the rounds on the internet and social media, leading to a great deal of embarrassment for the star.
“He’s so embarrassed this has happened. The conversation between him and the supposed woman have left him hugely red faced. He can’t believe anyone would do this,” the source continued.
Ward rose to prominence in 2005 when he won the second series of ‘The X Factor’. Four studio albums followed, with the star making the transition to the West End in 2011 with appearance in ‘Rock of Ages’ and the musical version of Jeff Wayne’s ‘War of the Worlds’ in the coming years. He joined the cast of ‘Coronation Street’ last year, winning the best newcomer award at this year’s National Television Awards.
In August, Ward and his actress girlfriend Sophie announced the news that they were expecting their first child, just a few months after they went public with their relationship.
“After much speculation I'm overjoyed to announce that @sophieaustin1 and I are expecting our first child. #blessed,” he announced on Twitter.
