Fact: Norwegian producers Stargate have recruited pop stars Pink and Sia to lend their vocals to their first single, the reggae-tinged Waterfall. The hitmakers, made up of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen, have been crafting tunes for the likes of Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Rihanna for years, but they are now launching careers as recording artists in their own right after signing a deal with RCA Records.

Fact: Katy Perry dropped her new single Chained to the Rhythm on Thursday night (09Feb17). The track, produced by Max Martin, co-written by Sia and featuring Bob Marley's grandson Skip Marley, is an uptempo tune which will feature on the singer's long-awaited fourth album. Katy will perform the song live for the first time at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (12Feb17), with Skip rumoured to be making an appearance too.

Rapper Drake's former 10-week Billboard Hot 100 number one, One Dance, is refusing to bow out gracefully, rising from three to two on the countdown, while Calvin Harris and Rihanna's This Is What You Came For is also up a spot to three.

Fact: Singer/songwriter Sia is looking to make a quick profit by selling the Los Angeles home she purchased this summer (15). The Chandelier star bought the five-bedroom Mediterranean villa in July (15) for $4.7 million (£2.9 million), and now she's hoping to offload the Los Feliz pad, designed by architect A.F. Leicht, at the increased price of $5 million (£3.1 million), reports Realtor.com.

She has attended a string of recent runway shows as part of her new post and admits she is enjoying working in a different aspect of the creative industry. Fact: Singer/songwriter Sia made a rare Tv appearance on Monday (19May14) when she recreated her viral music video for new single Chandelier on comedienne Ellen DeGeneres' daytime chat show. Choosing to not show her face, Sia had her back to the audience but sang the track live, while young dancer Maddie Ziegler danced to the song in a replica of the desolate apartment set which appears in the music video.
