Sia gets a string of Hollywood stars involved in her latest music video, a festive number entitled 'Santa's Coming For Us' from her newly released album 'Everyday Is Christmas'. Released in October, it's the first single from the record, following promotional release 'Snowman'.
The video is set in a 50s household and goes from black and white to colour with the lyrics at the bottom of the screen. It stars Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard as the husband and wife of the household (appropriately, given that they are actually married), Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff from 'It' and Caleb McLaughlin from 'Stranger Things' as the children, Henry Winkler and Susan Lucci as the new arrivals for Christmas dinner, and later J.B. Smoove comes along down the chimney as Santa Claus.
Sia Furler's first ever Christmas collection is an exciting prospect. It comes following her 2016 album 'This Is Acting' which hit number one in Australia, but Sia decided to go down the holiday route for her eighth release.
It all happened by accident too. While she was recording in the studio with long-time producer Greg Kurstin, the ideas just kept coming. So in the holiday spirit was she that they got the 10-track album fully recorded within two weeks. The album cover art features her frequent 15-year-old collaborator Maddie Ziegler pulling a funny face while wearing a half red and half green curly wig.
'Everyday Is Christmas' was released on November 17th 2017 through Atlantic and Monkey Puzzle Records.
