Miller admitted to being "naive" early in her career

"I was really naive, I think. I was a young 21," the now 32-year-old admitted. "Not green as grass, I was by no means an innocent, but I had faith in the goodness of everyone. I was very open. And that led me into all sorts of situations that backfired."

Miller became engaged to Lawin 2004 but eventually split in 2005 after it was revealed he had an affair with the nanny of his children. Since then it was rumoured the actress had an affair with 'James Bond' actor Daniel Craig and also was involved in a highly publicized affair with married actor, and father, Balthazar Getty.

This led to the public's opinion affecting her blossoming career, "It had become difficult for me to get the work I wanted, if I'm really honest," she said. "I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges."

"When I wasn't at work, I wasn't behaving the way you should. It was really bad," Sienna continued. "What was going on in my private life was not an easy thing to read about. People don't want to see films with people they don't approve of in them."

This resulted in the 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' actress needing to get away from Hollywood.

"I felt like I had no control over any aspect of my life," she said, "professionally or personally. So I deliberately disappeared. I was sick of myself, to be honest, or sick of that perception of me. It all felt so f**king dirty."

The disappearance act was definitely needed as her personal and professional life have improved tremendously.
