Aussie actor Simon Baker has landed at the top of a new U.S. TV salary list - after reportedly signing a $30 million (£20 million) deal to extend his time on THE MENTALIST.
The star's Christmas bonus has made him the highest-paid dramatic actor on TV, jumping over House star Hugh Laurie and CSI's Laurence Fishburne.
Baker, who plays psychic crime consultant Patrick Jane in the hit series, was reportedly pocketing $250,000 (£666,670) per episode before the contract extension.
Reports suggest the new deal with Warner Brothers includes a producing credit throughout the fifth season the show.
