Sir Paul McCartney is set to make a cameo appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Along with Johnny Depp, who will reprise his much-loved role as Captain Jack Sparrow, the Beatles star will appear in the latest sequel.

The Independent has reported that McCartney is due to play an integral part to a new set piece being added to the film, which has already finished shooting.

McCartney will be surrounded by returning cast members including Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush and new additions including Javier Bardem who will take over the reins as this film’s villain.
Depp has suggested that this will "probably" be the last film and Disney appears to be determined to send it out in style, spending over $250million on this fifth chapter.
