Though it seems like a large offering of music from the band, the 63 tracks selected for the new album have been selected from the 275 unique musical performances The Beatles played for the BBC between March 1962 and June 1965.

True Beatles fans will value the addition of the famous four-piece's studio banter. The group were known for their wit and sense of humour and the new speech excerpts will offer a new window into the inter-band relationships and BBC-based tomfoolery with radio hosts Brian Matthew and Alan Freeman. Due on release in November this year, the new record will serve as the sequel to 1994's Live At The BBC that sold 5 million copies.

Sir Paul McCartney has spoken about the imminent release and the importance of the recordings, saying "There's a lot of energy and spirit. We are going for it, not holding back at all, trying to put in the best performance of our lifetimes."

McCartney also spoke warmly of the BBC and the significance the broadcaster held for his band: "We'd been raised on the BBC radio programmes. One of the big things in our week was Saturday Club - this great show was playing the kind of music we loved, so that was something we really aspired to."

The release will be available in a special 180-gram vinyl package with a 48-page booklet as well as on CD and download.
