Newly Engaged Sofia Vergara Visits Joe Manganiello's Hometown For NFL Game

'Modern Family' actress Sofia Vergara and her fiancé Joe Manganiello spent the first few days of 2015 visiting Manganiello's hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

38-year-old Manganiello and 42-year-old Vergara shared the lead up to the Pittsburgh Steelers' game on Saturday (3rd January) on social media. Manganiello is a huge fan of the Steelers, having been brought up in Pittsburgh, and attended the game against the Baltimore Ravens to show his support. Manganiello was seemingly so excited about the match he even prepared by taking a quick nap!

Manganiello and Vergara watched the match, bought some team merchandise and ate at one of Manganiello's favourite sandwich shops. Manganiello may have been over zealous in his love of the Steelers, even encouraging his bride-to-be to buy a huge yellow and black novelty hat. Vergara joked about wearing it and posted a picture on Instagram. 'No Joe, I'm not wearing this to the stadium!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Vergara captioned the picture.

The couple also went to another Pittsburgh landmark, the Primanti Bros restaurants, before heading to the stadium. Vergara posted an Instagram picture of an insane looking sandwich which apparently included turkey, provolone cheese, fresh cut French fries, sweet and sour coleslaw and tomato, according to sources speaking to E!. A source from the restaurant was also keen to boast of their famous clientele.

"Her [Vergara's] man Joe is kind of a regular here," the source said. "He grew up in town in Pittsburgh. I think he wanted to treat his lady to the Primanti Bros. experience." It certainly looked like quite an experience albeit evidently not one of the healthiest options as Vergara added the hashtag '#IstartdietMonday' to her delicious looking snap.

The couple started dating just over six months ago and appear to have been inseparable ever since. Manganiello popped the question over Christmas whilst the two were holidaying in Hawaii along with Vegara's family, including her son 22-year-old Manolo. They later spent New Year's Eve together at the same party as Arnold Schwarzenegger and his girlfriend, Heather Millgan. Another newly formed couple, Miley Cyrus and Schwarzenegger's son, Patrick, also attended the Las Vegas event.
