Solange Knowles has been named as the new face of Eleven Paris' spring/summer campaign.

The talented singer will front the French label's collection at the beginning of 2015 alongside the former lead singer of the indie band Girls, Christopher Owens.

The duo follow in the footsteps of supermodel Kate Moss who has previously worked with the brand on their campaigns, with the work being done on top of Solange's role as creative consultant at Puma.

Eleven Paris co-founder Dan Cohen said: ''After the global celebrity Kate Moss, we wanted spokesmodels who would represent another facet of Eleven Paris, one that is constantly on the lookout for emerging creative movements and which has designed to the rhythm of indie music since 2003.

''For me, Solange and Christopher as a pair are the perfect illustration of this.''

Images already released of the stylish 28-year-old star show her wearing several different outfits including a sheer basketball-style T-shirt and long-sleeved white top, which is made to look like it has been torn.

The studio snaps - taken by Kim Jakobsen - come just a month after she shocked fans in a beautiful white caped gown, and later a cleavage-baring jumpsuit at her wedding in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The 'Losing You' hitmaker wed her long-time partner, music video director Alan Ferguson at the intimate ceremony, which was attended by her older sister Beyonce, and her husband Jay Z.
