The girls are rumoured to be hitting the road for their 20th anniversary, but there may be two new faces.
As rumours of the Spice Girls' 20th reunion tour continue, it is now being reported that the three members of the group to have said yes to the tour, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Mel B, are holding auditions to find replacements for Victoria Beckham and Mel C.
Are Emma, Mel B and Geri looking to replace Mel C and Victoria?
Victoria and Mel C are said to have declined the chance to reunite with their former bandmates, but the other three are keen to go ahead with their 20th anniversary plans. An unnamed source told Life & Style Magazine: “The girls are going to be making a formal announcement about tryouts for their spots in the next few weeks.”
“Posh and Sporty can be replaced.” The source added that Victoria and Mel C, “are refusing to participate in an upcoming reunion tour.” While Victoria’s refusal to participate was expected, according to the source Mel C’s wasn’t.

“It wasn’t a surprise that Victoria would decline the tour, but the girls really hit the roof when Mel C ditched too,” the source added. In April The Sun reported that Mel C had pulled out of the reunion because she didn't feel the time was right.
“Mel C is out of the reunion for now,” a source told the newspaper. “She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career. She loves the girls but it just didn’t feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment.”

At the time there was also talk of the band holding auditions for replacement members. “They are arranging a number of meetings which include the option for a tour, possibly with just the three of them or with other singers,” the source added.
“There have even been the suggestions of a Spice Girls talent show. It would be an absolute TV sensation. Could you imagine the opportunity for a member of the public to become a Spice Girl?”
