Status Quo frontman FRANCIS ROSSI has become the boss of a whisky company - more than a decade after overcoming his alcohol addiction.
The teetotal rocker has been made chairman of Glen Rossie whisky after purchasing a significant minority stake in the 196-year-old firm, according to Britain's The Sun.
Rossi will have to carefully monitor his drinking - he famously battling booze problems in the late 1970s and later lost part of his nasal septum after repeated cocaine abuse.
A source tells the publication, "Francis has famously had his struggles with the bottle. He's been more or less alcohol-free for well over a decade now. He is strict about his booze ban."
