Fact: Status Quo has announced new tour dates following the recent death of bandmember Rick Parfitt on Christmas Eve (24Dec16). Remaining rockers Francis Rossi, Andrew Bown, John 'Rhino' Edwards, Leon Cave and Richie Malone will perform four shows this summer (17), including a gig at London's Royal Albert Hall on 1 July. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 27 January (17).

Fact: Rockers Status Quo will perform a special stripped-down set at London's Roundhouse venue to celebrate the launch of their first completely acoustic album Aquostic: Stripped Bare. The gig will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 on 22 October (14).
Fact: British rockers Status Quo have taken on a new drummer, Leon Cave.
