Stephen Hawking has pulled out of Glastonbury according to a spokesperson for the scientist.
Professor Stephen Hawking has reportedly pulled out of Glastonbury Festival for ''personal reasons''.
The famous scientist was due to appear at the music festival this afternoon (26.06.15) to give a speech at the Kidz Field, but according to a spokesperson he has had to cancel and is said to be ''poorly''.
The Telegraph reporter Alice Vincent - who is at the festival said: ''I've just been up to the Kidz Field, where the friendly chaps on the door told me that Professor Stephen Hawking will not be there this afternoon - 'he's poorly', they tell me''.
BBC news reporter Lizo Mzimba has also tweeted saying it's ''unlikely'' Stephen will make an appearance.
His tweet read: ''Sadly now looking unlikely that Stephen Hawking will be appearing at @GlastoFest this weekend. #Glastonbury (sic).''
A message on the festival's website revealed he would make ''a special guest appearance'' in the field which is aimed at children aged 12 and under.
It remains not known if Stephen will reschedule his Glastonbury speech for another day of the festival, which goes on until Monday (29.06.15).
