Twilight Breaking Dawn author Stephenie Meyer has been admiring her figure in recent weeks, having undergone a healthy eating diet. The writer has been photographed looking slim at red carpet premieres for the latest movie, and Breaking Dawn screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg has dished on Meyer's diet secrets.
Fans were stunned by the novelists figure when she showed up at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for a handprint and footprint ceremony, featuring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. At the time, she gave little away as to her diet plan, but Rosenberg told the Los Angeles Times at Monday's Breaking Dawn premiere, "Honestly, watching what she eats, and exercise.Diet and exercise. And she looks fantastic. You know, she had lost some weight when we filmed the wedding scene together.but then I saw her at the 'Breaking Dawn' junket and just thought, holy smoke". It looks likely to be a double celebration for Meyer this week, given early indications that Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 could smash box office records. According to E! Online, the movie grossed an estimated $30.5 million during its opening 'midnight screenings' - to put that figure into perspective, the recent Dreamworks adaptation of 'Puss in Boots' topped the box office several weeks ago with a total weekend opening of $33 million. Breaking Dawn is expected to take around $140 million during its opening weekend.
In 2010, Forbes magazine ranked Stephenie Meyer as the 59th most powerful celebrity, with annual earnings of $40 million.
