A niece of moviemaker Steven Spielberg is looking to carve out her own career in showbusiness by appearing as a contestant on Israel's version of hit talent show The Voice.
Jessica Katz, the daughter of Spielberg's sister, Playmount Productions president Nancy Spielberg-Katz, is well known on the local gigging circuit in Tel Aviv.
She will be shown taking part in a blind audition for judges by singing Lykke Li's I Follow Rivers during an episode of The Voice Israel's upcoming third season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It is not known if the 25 year old passes the test and is put through to the next round.
