Soul icon Stevie Wonder treated fellow passengers on a commercial flight from Los Angeles to New York to an impromptu performance on Thursday (04Oct12) as he rehearsed mid-air for a charity gig that night.

The Superstition hitmaker was en route to the Big Apple's Radio City Music Hall to play at rocker Paul Simon's Children's Benefit Concert when he decided to put his travel time to good use by warming up his vocals with his daughter Aisha Morris.

An eyewitness tells the New York Post's Page Six gossip column, "Stevie was with a small entourage of four. He and (Morris) started harmonising and softly jamming... We basically got a private concert!"
