Stevie Wonder is a dad again - his girlfriend has given birth to his ninth child.

The R&B legend and his partner Tomeeka Robyn Bracy have welcomed a daughter called Nia. His representative tells Us Weekly that they chose the tot's name because it means 'purpose', which is one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, the African-American holiday observed at the end of December.

Wonder, 64, and Bracy quietly welcomed their first child last year (13).

He has seven other kids from previous relationships, including two sons with his second ex-wife, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris, who he divorced in 2012.
