Fact: Reunited British rockers the Stone Roses have announced plans to play three U.K. shows next summer (17), including a megagig at London's Wembley Stadium on 17 June (17). The band is also rumoured to be headlining next year's (17) Glastonbury festival, but those reports remain unconfirmed.

Fact: Reformed British rockers the Stone Roses thrilled hardcore fans at their gig in Lyons, France on Monday night (25Jun12) by playing their eponymous 1989 debut album in its entirety for the first time on their reunion tour.

Fact: A 20-year-old piece of art by Stone Roses rocker John Squire is set to be auctioned off as part of a huge music memorabilia sale in England. The black, white and beige painting, in the style of artist Jackson Pollock, stems from the band's heyday in the late 1980s. It will be put under the hammer alongside Elvis Presley's teeth mould and Alan MCGee's rock collection in Manchester on Saturday (25Feb12).

Fact: Moviemaker Shane Meadows will document the Stone Roses' reunion shows in 2012. The This Is England and TwentyFourSeven director will follow the band as they prepare to play three shows at Manchester's Heaton Park next summer, according to The Sun.
