The line-up for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ 2015 is complete, with the 14th and 15th celebrities being announced on BBC’s ‘The One Show’ on Thursday evening (August 27th). TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher and former British Olympic sprinter Iwan Thomas round off the list of stars who’ll be competing for the ‘Strictly’ crown when the thirteenth season starts next weekend.

Gallacher is currently a Sky Sports News presenter, and has provided sports coverage for a number of networks at events like the Ryder Cup, Wimbledon and the Olympics. She said: “I’ve always been a huge fan of ‘Strictly’ so am very excited to be taking part in the show this year.”

41 year old Thomas, a retired 400m sprinter who represented Great Britain in various Olympic and Commonwealth Games, is currently a BT Sport presenter and occasional features contributor to ‘The One Show’.

He said: “I’m extremely excited and scared at the thought of taking part in ‘Strictly’. I love watching the show and I can’t believe I’m swapping my running spikes for dancing shoes. I used to be quick at running around the track and I’m just hoping my dance partner doesn’t leave me behind.”

Gallacher and Thomas will be joining, in full: presenters Jeremy Vine, Katie Derham, Carol Kirkwood and Anita Rani; actresses Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote and Helen George; singers and pop stars Peter Andre, Daniel O’Donnell, Jamelia and The Wanted’s Jay McGuinness; TV chef Ainsley Harriott and boxer Anthony Ogogo.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ returns to BBC1 on September 5th.
