Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah is set to fly back to Britain following her release from a clinic in Europe where she was treated for nervous exhaustion.
The singer was admitted to an unnamed facility in Germany in mid-October (09) following months of turmoil in the group, which saw founding member Keisha Buchanan booted out of the band in September (09). She was replaced by Eurovision star Jade Ewen.
Buchanan's sudden exit led to rumours of a feud with Berrabah, who reportedly received hate mail from die-hard fans blaming her for ruining the line-up.
A representative for the Push The Button hitmakers revealed the stress of the last few months left the 25 year old struggling to cope and she was admitted to a treatment centre to recover.
The star has now ended her 20-day stay and admits she is ready to get back to work.
She says, "(I'm) feeling better than ever and (I'm) ready to come home."
While a source tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "The clinic's program includes acupuncture, as well as group therapy sessions, building up confidence and tackling insecurities. She's ready to move forward with her life and get back to work with the band."
The group scrapped a number of gigs in recent weeks, including concerts in Leeds, England and Germany. They have also pushed back the release of their upcoming album, Sweet 7, which was due to hit shops this month (Nov09), until February (10).
