Suge Knight Collapses In Court After Hearing Bail Set At $25 Million - See The Pictures

Suge Knight collapsed in court earlier today after hearing his bail had been set at $25 million. Knight was in court in L.A. on Friday (20th March) when he collapsed. The judge's decision to set a high bail was the result of Knight seemingly breaking bail on a robbery charge before allegedly committing the crimes he is accused of. The news of Knight's collapse comes amidst reports Knight's health is suffering as a result of his stint in prison.

Knight was returning to the court, after a brief recess, accompanied by bailiffs when he collapsed. He had seemingly reached the defendant's table when the incident occurred. Photographs, taken at the scene, suggest Knight had collapsed over one of the chairs at the defendant's table. The bailiffs appear to have immediately rushed to Knight's aid. Knight was reportedly carried from the court in a stretcher and an ambulance was seen leaving the scene shortly after.

The 49-year-old producer is accused of murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges after he allegedly hit two men with his truck in a Compton, CA restaurant car park in January 2015. He's accused of murdering local business man Terry Carter and injuring a former gang member, Cle "Bone" Sloan. He was charged with the murder of Carter back in January and has been imprisoned ever since.

Matthew Fletcher, Knight's lawyer, claimed his client had not received any medication since the previous day. Knight reportedly suffers from diabetes and has a blood clot near his lung, according to reports in NY Daily News. He may have also hit his head on the table as he fell, reports suggest.

Knight, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges, has previously received medical care four times since his first court appearance in February.
