The Blood In My Eyes stars have signed a new record deal with Hopeless Records in Los Angeles ahead of plans to unveil their first new material since 2011's Screaming Bloody Murder.

The new project was written, engineered and produced by frontman Deryck Whibley two years after he almost died as a result of his heavy drinking and wild partying ways, and he is looking forward to sharing the music with fans.

"It's crazy to think that we started this band 20 years ago and so much has happened, and it all happened really fast," he says in a statement. "When I look back at everything it still feels like it's all so recent. I think this a good thing because it still feels like there is still so much to do."

Further details about the album have yet to be revealed.

The band is currently preparing to head out on the road for the 2016 Warped Tour, which kicks off next month (Jun16).
