Swedish House Mafia have unveiled the dates for their farewell tour, Billboard have reported today (September 24, 2012). The three-piece announced earlier this year that they would be calling it a day but have decided to give fans one last chance to rejoice in the live experience and have called their worldwide adventure Swedish House Mafia: One Last Tour. The 26-date tour kicks off on November 16, 2012 in Dubai and continues on to India, Europe, South Africa and North America. The world tour will end on March 9, 2013 in Los Angeles.

Before they embark on their farewell tour, the band will release a compilation album on October 22, entitled Until Now. The first single from the album, Don’t You Worry, Child,’ was debuted last week. A deluxe version of the album will be available, which will feature remixes of Coldplay and Usher. In an announcement on their website, the band sent a message to their fans, saying “Today we want to share with you that the tour we are about to go on will be our last," the message read. "We want to thank every single one of you who came on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.” Many have been bemused by the band’s decision to quit at such a high point in their career. Their headline set at Coachella 2012 is considered one of the best sets that they have played since they formed in 2008.

The band will be hoping that the concerts pass without trouble. Nine people were allegedly stabbed at their Phoenix Park concert in Dublin in July and three people were stabbed at a show in Milton Keynes later that month.
