Tallulah Rendall Lay Me Down Single

Tallulah Rendall is a 25 year old singer songwriter from London.

She plays the guitar extremely well and is in a 5 piece band.

She has her own record label called Transducer Records.

This year she has played at the Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and Latitude festivals as well as being the only performer at Dame Shirley Bassey’s 70th birthday do.

Her recent Limited Edition EP ‘Without Time’ completely sold out its pressing of 2,000 and for her forthcoming album ‘Libellus’ she has former Bjork producer Marius de Vries as Executive Producer.

Lay Me down is her current single. It was released on December 8th and will appear on the album.

Both single and album covers feature stunning artwork by artist Beshlie McKelvie These are the bold facts.

What they don’t tell you is that Tallulah Rendall has a truly great voice.

It has jazz and blues, pain, grief, longing and despair, yet can turn to lyrical beauty and focused expression at the change of a chord. It’s also sublime, fragile, soulful and heart-piercing in its intensity. There are echoes of Eva Cassidy, Duffy, Billie Holliday and Madeleine Peyroux.

It’s the sort of voice you want to listen to at the end of a stressful day while curled up on the sofa with a loved one, or while soaking in a hot, bubbly, bath.

It’s the sound you want to hear in the background while making languorous and lazy love on a Sunday afternoon.

A perfect single.
