Taylor Lautner (11.2.1992) Taylor Lautner is an American actor and martial arts practitioner, who is perhaps best known for his role in Twilight, the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's vampire novel series.
Childhood: Taylor Lautner was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Deborah and Daniel Lautner. His mother works for a software development firm and his father is a pilot for a commercial airline. Taylor has a younger sister, Makena.
Taylor Lautner studied karate from the age of six until he was 13. At the age of 11, he was ranked number one in the world in NASKA's Black Belt Open Forms, Musical Weapons, Traditional Weapons and Traditional Forms. The following year, he won the Junior World Championships.
Show Business Career: Taylor Lautner started acting in 2001, with the TV film Shadow Fury. Following this, he landed a role on the series Summerland, which also featured Zac Efron and Lori Loughlin. This was followed by appearances on the Bernie Mac Show (a sitcom featuring Bernie Mac, Kellita Smith and Camille Winbush) and My Wife and Kids (another TV sitcom, featuring Damon Wayans, Jennifer Freeman and Jaz Raycole). On America's Most Talented Kids, Taylor Lautner put on a display of his karate skills and he also appeared on the Nick and Jessica Variety Hour. He has also carried out a range of successful voice-over work.
Taylor Lautner's big break came in 2005 when he landed the role of Shark Boy in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D. the film was made by the director Robert Rodriguez - who is better known for his work with Quentin Tarantino - who said that the film was largely conceived by his son, Racer Rodriguez. In the film, which also stars Taylor Dooley and Cayden Boyd, Lautner gets to show off his martial arts skills. Following the success of the film, Taylor Lautner was also cast to play Elliot in Cheaper by the Dozen. This comedy was produced by 20th Century Fox and stars Steve Martin, Hilary Duff, Carmen Electra and Bonnie Hunt.
In October 2008, Lautner featured in My Own Worst Enemy, a TV series starring Christian Slater and Saffron Burrows. However, the series only lasted for nine episodes before it was cancelled.
Lautner was then cast as Jacob Black in the film Twilight, an adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's film. Twilight also starred Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. For the sequel, New Moon, Lautner was re-cast in the same role, though he almost lost out on the role, having to weight-train extensively to guarantee that he would retain the right to the role.
Lautner was then also cast as Tyler Harrinton in Valentine's Day, alongside Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher, Jamie Foxx, Taylor Swift, Queen Latifah and Anne Hathaway. The film is notable for featuring one of the largest ensemble casts in cinematic history.

Can 'Cuckoo' survive with a new star? These six sitcoms also suffered cast re-shuffles.
BBC3 comedy ‘Cuckoo’ has announced it is to replace star Andy Samberg with Twlight actor Taylor Lautner, giving the show a new main character. Replacing one of a show’s main cast members is always a tricky move and there’s no telling how viewer’s will react. We don’t want to burst ‘Cuckoo’s’ bubble but these six series show that replacing main stars is quite often a recipe for cancellation.

It's awards season, which means it is the time when the stars of Hollywood gather together to congratulate themselves on another successful year of moviemaking. There was nothing remotely notable about 2010's Grown Ups, and now we have a sequel that's even lazier. Without any actual plot to speak of, the movie merely strings together a series of unfunny scenes that include cheap gags and childish vulgarity but never a punchline. Sure, the scattershot approach might occasionally touch on recognisable situations, but there isn't a genuine laugh in the whole film.
After the reunion in the original movie, Lenny (Sandler) has moved back to his hometown with pals Eric, Kurt and Marcus (James, Rock and Spade). They're planning a big party just like in the old days, complete with a 1980s theme. But their children are getting older and have their own issues, including first dates and driving tests. And in Marcus' case, the kid is a teen thug (Ludwig) he only just discovered he had. But the real problem is that the guys have just sparked a turf war with a gang of idiotic fratboys from the nearby university. And now they have to prove once and for all who's really cool.
As with the first movie, you get the feeling that everyone on screen has somewhere better to be. There's no character development at all, since there are so many people spread across so many short scenes. Hayek, Bello and Rudolph are back as the guys' wives, but get exactly one thankless thing to do each. And it's not much better for the supporting cast of A-list cameo players like Buscemi (as a driving instructor), Lautner (as the fraternity leader) and so many more recognisable actors that you begin to wonder what dirt Sandler has on all of them.

The Mother Monster could have made more too, if she wasn't forced to drop out of her world tour early to undergo surgery.
Lady GaGa is once again the top earning celebrity under 30-years-old according to Forbes Magazine's annual compilation of the top earning staring in Hollywood. The 27-year-old topped a mostly female top ten, amassing an estimated $80 million from the period of June 2012 to June 2013, beating her nearest rival by over $20 million. The singer could have made more too, if it wasn't for the unscheduled cancellation of the end of her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour in January after she was forced to undergo hip surgery.
Lady Gaga could have made even more, not that she needed to
Her closest competitor was Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber, the highest place of only three males to make the list. Bieber managed to earn a reported $58m thanks to endorsements, touring, a movie and a string of releases over the past year.
In a woman-dominated list, Lady Gaga has emerged as the highest earning entertainer under 30-years-old
Lady GaGa has been a little absent from the music scene and the world of entertainment recently - put that down to her recent hip surgery - but that still hasn't stopped her from becoming the highest earning entertainer aged under thirty in the world. The 'Bad Romance' singer topped a female-dominated list, and Forbes even goes on to mention that the singer could have earned even more if she didn't have to drop out of her recent tour because of her surgery.
The Mother Monster topped the Top Earners Under 30 list for a second year
The singer has made an estimated $80 million over the course of the last year, ranging from June 2012 and June 2013. Her 'Born This Way Ball Tour' grossed $168 million before it was abruptly ended in January, with the singer also making a killing from her cosmetics range, album and singles sales and various other business ventures.

Twilight star Taylor Lautner will mark his departure from the fantasy series in new parkour action thriller, 'Tracers', set for release in 2014.
Taylor Lautner is currently filming scenes for an action-packed new movie that could see the actor climb even further up the acting ladder. Due for release in 2014, Tracers will chart a NYC bike messenger Cam's journey into the world of parkour after he is wanted by a crime gang that he is indebted to.
Known for his role as topless werewolf in the Twilight franchise, Lautner is well placed to play such a physically demanding role having been a martial arts pro since a young age and earning the prestigious black belt at aged eight.
The title, Tracers, is derived from the slang term used to describe those who engage in the practice of Parkour - a non-competitive discipline that sees tracers moving through their environment, using only their body and the obstacles they come across. Cue incredible footage of tracers scaling buildings by leaping between parallel walls and death-defying leaps from obstacles.
The success of Twilight has unfortunately brought with it a rather upsetting statistic, and that is that dog/wolf cross breeds are being abandoned by their owners at an alarming rate, UK canine charity Dogs Trust has said.
Fans off the supernatural saga have been drawn to cute wolf-life puppies such as Huskies, Malamutes and Akitas, in a bid to have a little Jacob Black - the lycanthropic character played by Taylor Lautner - of their own. However these fans clearly underestimated the care and attention that is required by these dogs when they get old and as a result the unfortunate hounds have become the burden of dog shelters across the country at an alarming rate. So far this year, the canine charity has had nearly 100 Huskies, 35 Akitas and 16 Malamutes handed over to its 18 re-homing shelters scattered across the country, with the trend showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
These types of dog greatly need an active lifestyle and with a number of suburban homes buying the dog, most cannot provide this kind of care, thus prompting the current situation. Lynn Barber, a training and behavioural adviser at the Dogs Trust, which cares for about 16,000 dogs a year, has told the press: “These dogs are gorgeous creatures and can make wonderful companions, but they need owners who know the breed and are willing to commit to them."
